Political Corporations

Well Election 41 is underway and I again get irritated with the mentality of our politicians. The Liberals rolled out their platform announcing $8 Billion dollars in additional spending. Now the wording of how they are "investing" in Canada could be nothing further from the truth. In fact the Liberal party invests absolutely nothing. Properly read it should be we will tax you further and decide where to spend your hard earned $$. He claims that he will not raise your taxes, in the same line talks of how he will raise taxes on corporations. I am not too sure when Mr. Ignatieff will figure out that corporations hold a significant amount of value to Canada. They supply jobs, prosperity and a huge addition to the federal coffers. All the while our political parties enjoy a tax free lifestyle at the expense of Canadians. We donate to their parties whether we want to or not, as they receive $$ for every vote as well as receive $$ while doling out tax receipts. Fair indeed. I would like to see our political parties lead by example, and run according to the corporate tax laws that exist in Canada, after all they are multi million dollar corporations. The big business of politics "investing" our hard earned dollars while contributing absolutely nothing to society is ridiculous. Any other business that showed that kind of income would generate thousands of well paying jobs as well as pay their share. We can't keep thinking we can tax the Corporate world all the time, as the reality is they can move their business anywhere in the world they like. We have already seen this as Canada ships out thousands of jobs to places with lower costs. Ignatieff's hair brained schemes of tax and spend have to stop. He is not giving you anything you will not be paying for. I know I can spend my $$ more effective than any government. As for the corporate tax grabs, well he claims corporations enjoy a low tax regime. Well Mr. Ignatieff if this is true run your party like the corporation it is. I want you to "ENJOY" the low taxes in Canada as well. Any excess $$ every year in your party should be retained earnings, which you should pay tax on. Parties should not receive any money from the federal coffers which is Canadians money we place in trust with the government. For once it would be nice to see Leaders lead by example, not blow smoke up my ass with my own money.
